You would like to order a JANUFAKTUR unique piece, but you are not quite sure about the choice of surface or the type of wood? Then we will be happy to send you one of our free sample packages! With the help of the sample box you have the possibility to let the different surface treatments work in a real environment. Does the colour tone match other furnishing objects, how do the wood types look in different light or how does a sanded or brushed surface feel? We could try to describe it to you extensively, but nothing would come close to the real haptic and optical experience.
We always try to offer an optimal price-performance ratio with a lot of transparency. We put a lot of effort into the production of our sample boxes and would like to continue to make them available free of charge. Unfortunately, it cannot be ruled out that one of these boxes may get lost here and there, and this is perfectly okay in individual cases. Unfortunately, however, we have noticed in recent weeks that we are receiving more and more fake orders for the sample boxes, which has led to an extreme loss of reusable sample boxes. For this reason, we have decided to at least charge the shipping costs incurred in order to at least slightly increase the hurdle for suspected fraudulent orders. Of course, return shipping is and will remain free of charge!
In order to be able to offer you a free sample service in the future, we would like to ask you for a few small things:
  • Of course, we are happy to provide you with samples of all available types of wood. However, if you can exclude certain types of wood from the outset, please only select the types of wood that interest you. This helps us to save unnecessary work and shipping costs.
  • Part of a sustainable approach to the raw material wood is that we always try to attribute every piece, no matter how small, to a use. Therefore, we produce our samples exclusively from unusable offcuts. Nevertheless, a lot of time and energy goes into the production of our sample boxes. That is why we would like to reuse them as often as possible. We therefore only give these samples out on loan and would ask you to either have them picked up at a delivery or send them back to us after use. We will be happy to provide you with a return voucher on request.
  • In order for us to be able to reuse our samples frequently, we would like to ask you to treat them with care. Of course, it can always happen that the box or the samples get damaged and we will do our best to repair them if necessary. However, we hope that the boxes will find their way back to us in the same condition and completeness.
