WasteLess Desk

This desk is part of our limited WasteLess collection (more info about it a bit further down in the description).

The tabletop, which was made from historic gym flooring, is placed on two trapezoidal oak runners. We deliberately based the shape of the runners on the undercarriage of jumping trestles to visually continue the theme of the tabletop.

In the middle of the rear side we have integrated a practical cable aperture. In order to keep everything organized underneath the tabletop, there is an elegant cable tray made of black coated metal.

The WasteLess collection is a product line that is largely made from a historic gym floor. This material comes from the former Paulinenschule in Detmold and now gets a second life as a tabletop with historical and nostalgic value. If you are from the district of Lippe, you might even know the former Paulinenshule and have possibly spent many hours jumping around on this floor yourself. Now you have the opportunity to integrate this piece of nostalgia into your everyday life. Since environmental protection and the sustainable use of raw materials and resources are very close to our hearts, this collection is a true heart project for us. With a lot of love the old floor panels are refurbished, provided with an oak frame which ensures the necessary dimensional stability, damages are repaired and the surface is resealed. Each model of the WasteLess collection is unique due to the material used and there will always be different cutouts from the original lines of the sports field borders. After all, each panel exists only once! However, if you would like to choose a certain cutout in advance, from which your table will be made later, please send us a message and we will be happy to send you pictures of available source materials.

With the WasteLess collection we not only want to raise awareness for sustainable issues, we really want to make a difference! For this reason, we will take a large part of our profits from this product line to support further commitment to environmental protection. Of course, 10% of every sale will go to our partner Mission Erde, and we will add another 5% to this amount for the WasteLess collection.
